i swear this is the last of the massive photo over-load. or at least i'll try to be less generous towards the various voyeurs in cyberspace. perhaps i'm just flattering myself in thinking that people actually bother coming here. but before i digress further, i must say, this is the first time i've celebrated my birthday 5 days in a row.
these angels were kind enough to get me another cake for our own private celebration. and, despite my vehement objections, sang 'happy birthday' to me in our campus kopitiam. grrr ! luckily, thanks to my strong aquarian intuition (righto), i'd chosen a corner table instead of one right smack in the middle of the damn place. these idiots are sweet, but nevertheless, bent on embarrassing me at every opportunity that shimmies by.
spent much of the day hounding and pestering working adults around the raffles city/city hall area with survey questions for our project. quite an exciting experience ! we actually saw J.B. Jayaratnam (spell ??). to tell you the truth, i had no clue of his existance before today. but apparently, hes a member of the opposition party. he and his compadre had set up a lil stand just opposite from where we'd camped and was attempting to sell some propagandistic material. we were quite worried that the public would think that we were in cahoots with him hahah.
ok to cut a long story short, we got our surveys done while simultaneously indulging in some shameless people-watching and getting shoo-ed away like flies by arrogant 'businessmen'. and now, i'm smashed. time for bed !
